The aim of this guide is to show you exactly how to book your home window cleaning with Team Gleam (and just how easy it is!).
So, without further ado, heres? the Gleam guide to booking a professional window cleaner online.
First up, we need to check that our window cleaning team cover your area. For that, all we'll need is your postcode. Head over to the search form on our homepage to check.
Next, we'll ask for a few basic details about your home in order to generate your window cleaning quote. All you'll need to do is pick your address, the type of property it is, and tell us the number of windows and glazed doors we'll be cleaning. You'll then be presented with your instant quote with prices for 4 weekly window cleaning, 8 weekly or just a one-off window clean.
We've tried our best to make this part of the quote process nice and simple, when counting the number of windows and doors we'll be cleaning, think of one window or door as one 'hole in the wall'. There's no need to mess around counting individual panes of glass (don't forget, we clean frames and sills to!).
Also don't forget to include any skylights or velux windows that we'll need to attend to, although due to the nature of these, they may take a couple of visits from our window cleaning team to be brought fully back to life. Take a look at our guide to your first Gleam window clean for more info.
During the quote process, we'll ask if your home has a conservatory. If the answer is yes, don't include these windows when you count up the windows in your property.
As all conservatories are different, if you'd like it added to your regular window cleaning schedule, our team will be able to provide a separate quote for it when they arrive to complete your first clean. Whether you decide to add it to your regular window cleaning service is entirely your choice.
If your home has lots of glass, when you request your instant quote, you may see that our team will prepare a custom quote for you. 98% of our quotes are instant but if you do have lots of windows, we'll get a human to step in and offer a quote.
Don't worry though, our team are almost always able to quote based on Google satellite images or Google Streetview and will send your quote to you by text message the same day. Simply enter your mobile number and we'll jump straight on it.
If you're happy with our window cleaning pricing (we hope you will be!) and are ready to go ahead, the next step is deciding the frequency you'd like us to visit, and creating your Team Gleam account.
The frequency you choose for your window cleaning is totally up to you, we always recommend a 4 weekly service (you can find out why in our guide to choosing the right cleaning frequency), but we offer 4 weekly window cleaning, 8 weekly or just a one-off window clean if you need.
Creating your account is then simple and secure. All we'll need is your name, your email address and a contact mobile number to get the ball rolling.
Once you've chosen your window cleaning frequency and created your account above, all that's left to do is to choose a date for your first window clean, add your payment details and we'll take care of the rest.
We know that when you decide it's time to book a window cleaner, the sooner you get your first clean in the diary the better (it's one of the reasons we set up Team Gleam in the first place).
Once you've created your account you'll be offered a range of priority first clean dates. We aim to be able to offer to complete your first window clean within a couple of days of your booking.
If you choose a regular window cleaning service, you'll then be asked when you would like it to start. You may find that the options available are a little longer or shorter than 4 or 8 weeks from your first clean date. This happens because our window cleaners cover each area of your town either once or twice a month, so we need to slot your home into our regular schedule.
Once you've picked your regular start date, we'll complete your window clean on the same day of the week every 4 or 8 weeks thereafter.
When you confirm your window cleaning booking, we'll ask for your preferred payment method in the form of a credit or debit card. This is to secure your booking and you won't be charged in advance of your first clean, you're only ever charged after we complete your window clean and we accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express cards with no additional fees or surcharges for any card type.
